Jennifer Collins is President of The Event Planning Group, an award-winning communications firm creating engaging brand experiences. Since 1997, she has built The Event Planning Group to deliver powerful communications through creative design, expert logistical coordination and leading event technology solutions.
As a result of Jennifer’s leadership, the company has been ranked one of the top meeting and event planning companies in the Washington, D.C. region by the Washington Business Journal. She also serves as leader in the business community, including serving as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization (WPEO); member of the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO); and member of the Women’s Enterprise Leadership Forum for the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Jennifer is also active within the public service organization of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Additionally, she has earned the coveted industry designations of Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) and is a graduate of The American University in Washington, DC as well as the TUCK-WBENC Executive Education program at Dartmouth.
