Lynn A. Boccio heads the supplier diversity team at Avis Budget Group and oversees the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program at 238 airport locations, as well as the company’s corporate headquarters in Parsippany, NJ, for Avis, Budget, Zipcar, Inc., and Payless Car Rental.
Lynn is involved in several outreach activities designed to increase supplier diversity and community relations both nationally and in the NY Metropolitan Area. She presently serves as the Chair Emeritus of the Board of the Directors of the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization in addition to serving on the Boards of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, Airport Minority Advisory Council, Billion Dollar Roundtable and WEConnect Canada. In addition, Lynn is a member of the Senior Executive Corporate Advisory Board of The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Lynn has held numerous other positions on other regional and national boards and committees that advocate for minority and women businesses.
Lynn has been repeatedly awarded for the excellence she displays in the Supplier Diversity field. In 2007 and 2009, Lynn was honored to receive “The Outstanding Women’s Business Advocate of the Year Award” from the WPEO and in 2009, Lynn was selected by Minority Business News Magazine as a member of “The Influential 100”, a listing of 100 of America’s most influential leaders in minority business and supplier diversity development. In 2012, Lynn was selected as one of the “Top 25 Women in Power Impacting Diversity by Diversity Plus Magazine, named one of Long Island’s “Top 25 Advocates for Latino Empowerment” by The Hispanic Network, and recognized as one of MBN USA “Ambassadors of Supplier Diversity” which represents a solid commitment to connect divers suppliers with increased access among the nation’s purchasing committees. In 2013, Women’s Enterprise USA Magazine selected Lynn as one of the “Top 50 Women Leaders in Corporate Supplier Diversity.
Lynn’s legacy in the supplier diversity arena is proof positive that collaboration produces a “win-win-win” situation for corporations, diverse suppliers and their advocacy groups.
Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University Law School.
