Carla Reissner is the new Director of Service Delivery for WBEC MetroNY. She joined the organization in January of 2021, after 20 years in the corporate world with Capital One. Her work with the bank included executive team support, large-scale event planning, D&I work and Community investment activities.
As a corporate event planner, Carla designed and executed various types of events for associates at all levels of the company. These events included annual company Strategy Sessions with audiences of ten to 10,000 in different regions across the country. Carla was also instrumental in planning Executive Board meetings for the Office of the CEO, Sales incentive trips, conference participation for multiple departments and execution of company sponsorships such as the Capital One Bowl and PGA tournaments.
In her most recent roles with Capital One, Carla championed the company’s D&I efforts in Diversity Recruiting, Supplier Diversity and Community Affairs. This work included creating and nurturing relationships with non-profit partners and designing programming to address the needs of their members by utilizing the company’s financial and human capital.
Carla is a graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Communications. She received her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2006.
